Over the years we have come
across many basements which
were not suitable for
healthy living.
People develop asthma, skin
problems and in some cases
allergies. due to water
infiltration, excessive
humidity, mildew and a
build-up of spores.
We cannot renovate a
basement in those conditions
so we have to identify the
source of the problem and
address it, before
commencing any inside work.
Most problems are due to
cracks in the foundations,
improper water-proofing of
the foundations and/or lack
of French drain around the
perimeter of the property.
